Trump lawyer Alina Habba gave Letitia James one message that left her steaming mad

Letitia James was handed a major setback in her witch hunt against Donald Trump.

Now she’s scrambling to find a way forward.

And Trump lawyer Alina Habba gave Letitia James one message that left her steaming mad.

Democrats and their media allies thought they were on the verge of a massive victory over former President Donald Trump.

It appeared that New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) was going to be able to begin seizing his properties in a move ripped straight out of the playbook of a third-world tyrant.

New York Appeals Court hands James a crushing defeat

Trump’s legal team won an appeal to have the bond for the $464 million judgment issued by a Democrat judge in James’ business fraud case reduced to $175 million after a New York appeals court ruled in favor of the former President.

$175 million is an absurd amount but it meant that Trump would be able to come up with the money for the bond while he appeals the original judgment in the case.

James’ plan to seize Trump’s real estate properties and bank accounts was unexpectedly upended.

Alina Habba blasts Letitia James and Democrat judge

Trump lawyer Alina Habba appeared on the Fox News show Jesse Watters Primetime to take a victory lap after the New York appeals court lowered the bond.

“We won,” Habba said. “You know, no — we didn’t win. You know when we’ll win? When we get this all reversed, which is what’s gonna happen.”

James had been posting every day on social media the amount Trump owed for the bond on social media, which was rising by $112,000 each day because of interest.

“So, what happened today, was that Letitia had to eat every single tweet she has posted since the day the twisted order from Judge Engoron came out with the ridiculous number with the disgusting injustice on the American people, not just Donald Trump,” Habba said.

Habba said that she would love to see if James would react on social media after the appeals court ruled against her.

And she added that the ruling gave her “a little bit of faith” in New York’s justice system.

“I hope she took a little piece of humble pie today because that’s what was served to her,” Habba remarked. “Just a little. But we’ll be serving a lot more of that in the next couple of years.”

Now the tide could be beginning to turn against Letitia James after a court smacked down the egregious bond against Donald Trump.
