The Biden White House is in damage control after Jim Jordan uncovered this disturbing little secret

Feb 12, 2024

Joe Biden and Democrats have gone all-out in their law-fare campaign against Donald Trump and his supporters.

But they miscalculated, especially in thinking their misdeeds would go unnoticed.

And now the Biden White House is in damage control after Jim Jordan uncovered this disturbing little secret.

As Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has been investigating government censorship under the Biden Administration.

Inspired by Elon Musk’s revelations of how the White House colluded with Twitter to censor conservatives – colloquially known as ‘The Twitter Files’ – Jordan decided to look into other Big Tech giants, using the subpoena power of the House Judiciary Committee.

He recently shared what he found after investigating Amazon, and the White House is scrambling to bury the story.

Big Tech Transparency

Beginning in December 2022, then-new Twitter CEO Elon Musk began sharing internal company documents to journalists Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, Lee Fang, and authors Michael Shellenberger, David Zweig and Alex Berenson.

The documents showed Twitter policy teams interacting with the U.S. government to censor conservative voices and sway public opinion on certain policy goals.

Then in February 2023, shortly after beginning his stint as House Judiciary Committee Chairman, Rep. Jordan wasted no time issuing subpoenas to Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Microsoft to learn more about the Biden Administration’s involvement with America’s Big Tech companies.

Amazon Secrets Released

This week on Twitter, Jordan released his findings for Amazon, a report he referred to as “The Amazon Files.”

The bombshell story, supported by redacted email records from Amazon employees, shows that the company was pressured by the White House in 2021 to censor particular books.

An Amazon employee asks his team for clarification, “Is the [Biden] Administration asking us to remove books, or are they more concerned about search results/order (or both)?”

In another email, former White House official Andy Slavitt asked, “Who can we talk to about the high levels of propaganda and misinformation and disinformation of [sic] Amazon?”

A separate email showed that the administration’s criteria for misinformation involved searching for the term “vaccine,” and not liking the kind of books that came up.

Starting on March 9, 2021, the same day Amazon attended a meeting with White House officials, the company caved to the pressure and started censoring.

They enabled an internal “Do Not Promote” feature on books which had claimed vaccines weren’t effective.

Another email from Amazon confirms White House influence when the employee said “[we are] feeling pressure from the White House Taskforce on this issue as well.”

Jordan concluded his thread with, “To be continued…”

Joe Biden’s Attack on Free Speech

The more light is shined on Big Tech, the more Americans see government influence to censor the free speech of the American public and shape the way the public thinks and acts.

Americans are starting to see how rare it is for companies to resist government pressure and do the right thing, and how rare it is to find journalists willing to dig deep and find the truth.

Fortunately, they are also seeing that even a small number of individuals is all that’s needed to make an impactful difference.

This should motivate the free-speech movement to keep up the momentum and continue demanding the truth.
