Steve Bannon issued an anxiety-inducing warning about the looming “big fight” Donald Trump supporters will face in the spring

Jan 9, 2024

With the Republican Presidential Primary seemingly Donald Trump’s to lose, many of his supporters seem to have already turned their focus to November’s General Election.

That may just be a major miscalculation though.

And that’s because Steve Bannon issued an anxiety-inducing warning about the looming “big fight” Donald Trump supporters will face in the spring.

Trump’s big decision

Virtually all of the focus surrounding the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary is now being centered around speculation regarding former President Donald Trump’s search for a new Vice Presidential running mate.

While Democrats’ media allies are undoubtedly pushing a lot of information regarding the speculation that’s not true, what we do know for sure is that it seems to be a sure bet that the former President will select a female for the position in order to bolster his support with white suburban female voters, who were a major driving force behind his 2020 defeat.

Even Trump himself told NBC News in a September interview that he “likes the concept” of selecting a female running mate.

As such, reports have indicated that the list of candidates Trump is considering includes South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, former Trump Press Secretary and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and former Arizona Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, amongst others.

But over the past couple of weeks – seemingly out of nowhere – speculation has started to swirl not only amongst Democrats’ media allies, but also within conservative circles, over the possibility that the former President could select his former UN Ambassador and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, despite the fact that she’s not only running against him, but is doing so as the warmongering, pro-woke, ruling class establishment alternative to him.

Tucker Carlson was amongst the first to broach the subject publicly just before Christmas, telling the audience at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest that if Trump selected Haley as his VP, “I would not only not vote for that ticket, I would advocate against it as strongly as I could.”

Donald Trump Jr. echoed Carlson’s sentiment a short while later, telling Newsmax he “would go to great lengths to make sure” his father doesn’t make that mistake.

Most every Trump supporter had a similar reaction, as well, but many also seemed to brush aside the speculation as if it carried no weight.

“We’re going to have to have that fight”

As former Trump advisor Steven Bannon warned, though, if you ignore all the noise around Haley possibly being the former President’s running mate, you do so at the country’s peril.

During a recent interview with journalist Jack Posobiec, Bannon warned that ruling class Republicans will attempt to force Haley onto the ticket with Trump, and that conservatives are going to have to be ready to fight that fight, or risk having a poison pill attached to Trump’s candidacy.

“They’re gonna try to force Nikki on the ticket,” Bannon cautioned. “They’ll say ‘Trump needs a woman, Nikki on the ticket, she balances things and she can bring together that 15% of never-Trumpers in the Republican Party.’ We’re going to have to have that fight.”

Bannon went on to stress how important it is to keep Haley not only off the ticket as Trump’s running mate, but out of his potential second administration entirely, warning that if she is given any role, the entire Presidency will fail.

“If Nikki Haley is in this administration in any capacity, it will fail,” Bannon declared. “She’s a viper. She’s a viper and once she gets in there, she’ll try to run it as prime minister. She’ll try to be Dick Cheney. Her to Trump will be just like Dick Cheney to Bush. That’s what she’ll try to do.”

With ruling class Republicans, like Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), outright publicly endorsing the idea of Trump nominating Haley for the sole reason that she is garnering the “anti-Trump vote” in the GOP Primary, it’s hard to argue with Bannon’s assessment of the situation.

Of course the ruling class Republican establishment is going to attempt to force Haley onto the ticket as Trump’s running mate – that’s effectively what they did with former Vice President Mike Pence and many other members of Trump’s first administration, who they handpicked to successfully undermine the former President throughout his four years in office.

It’s what’s best for America and Trump

And despite the fact that she attacks and smears him everyday as she continues the charade that she’s actually a legitimate candidate for President, Haley has refused to shoot down the notion that she could be Trump’s Vice President.

In fact, when she was asked specifically whether she would accept being Trump’s running mate just over a week ago, Haley danced around the subject and simply told a New Hampshire crowd that “President Trump and I worked well together.”

Make no mistake about it, as difficult as it will be for Trump to overcome all of Democrats’ typical election year shenanigans, their witch hunt indictments against him, and their media allies to win back the White House in 2024, it’s going to be even more difficult to navigate an actual second administration with the ruling class elites wanting nothing more than to once again embed their lackeys to undermine his efforts to drain the Washington, D.C. Swamp.

Whether he’ll admit it or not, Trump’s biggest Achilles’ heel during his four years in office was his hiring decisions.

From making a warmongering, neocon globalist like Haley his UN Ambassador and selecting Pence as his Vice President to appointing pro-police state authoritarian Jeff Sessions as Attorney General and Christopher Wray as FBI Director – amongst many others – the poor hiring decisions Trump made are ultimately more to blame for his 2020 loss and much of the issues he’s dealing with today than anything else.

And Trump supporters have to do everything they can to ensure the former President doesn’t make the same mistakes again – both for his own good, and that of the nation.

That especially includes ensuring Donald Trump doesn’t even come close to selecting Nikki Haley as his Vice Presidential running mate.
