Morgan Wallen is in the middle of another controversy after his arrest.

But he never expected what happened next.

And Morgan Wallen was stunned when this song hit number one after his arrest.

Morgan Wallen arrested for hurling a chair

Country star Morgan Wallen was on top of the world after he beat back cancel culture after a controversy over being recorded using a racial slur in jest after a night out drinking with his friends.

His music was dominating the airwaves and his concerts were selling out stadiums.

But he ended up in the headlines for all the wrong reasons again.

Wallen was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct after he threw a chair off of the sixth-story rooftop bar at fellow country star Eric Church’s Chief’s Bar honky tonk in Nashviile’s Lower Broadway.

The chair landed near Nashville police officers on the street below.

“Country artist Morgan Wallen, 30, was booked early today on 3 cts of felony reckless endangerment and 1 ct of misdemeanor disorderly conduct for throwing a chair from the rooftop of Chief’s Bar Sun night,” the Metro Nashville Police Department wrote on X. “The chair landed on Broadway, close to 2 MNPD officers. His bond: $15,250.”

Wallen’s attorney said that he was cooperating with the authorities.

Now the “Last Night” singer is going to have to navigate controversy before embarking on his latest tour.

Morgan Wallen’s song hits number after his arrest

After Wallen was arrested for an incident at Eric Church’s bar, it was only fitting that a song featuring the pair singing about a bar hit number one on the country charts.

Wallen’s song “Man Made a Bar” featuring Church hit number one on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The song was originally released on his 2023 album One Thing at a Time, which has topped the country and the all-genre music charts.

It becomes the 12th song for Wallen to hit number one on the chart and the 11th for Church.

“Man Made a Bar” features the country star singing about being at a bar trying to get over a rough breakup.

“God made the world in seven short days / He said it was good, I bet it was great / Then God made a man, and man got lonely,” Wallen and Church sing on the chorus. “He said, ‘Please, Lord, if I could only / Have an angel to hold in my arms’ / So God made a girl, His best work of art / Oh, but He didn’t make no place to go when she breaks your hеart / So man made a bar.”

Rumors have swirled that the chair-throwing incident could be related to Wallen’s former fiancé KT Smith’s surprise elopement to get married to Luke Scornavacco.

But fans responded to Morgan Wallen’s latest controversy by putting him at the top of the charts.
