Donald Trump is grinning from ear-to-ear after this establishment RINO shockingly announced her resignation

Feb 29, 2024

Despite the fact that most every American has had a tremendously negative opinion of Congress for decades, incumbents are all but guaranteed to win re-election every election cycle.

That’s largely because the ruling class elites completely control both the Republican and Democrat Parties, allowing them to ensure the scales are always tipped in their favor.

But now Donald Trump is grinning from ear-to-ear after this establishment RINO shockingly announced her resignation.

Another one bites the dust

A few weeks ago, former President Donald Trump called for major changes to be made within the Republican National Committee’s leadership structure.

Trump’s proposed changes included replacing RNC Chairwoman, and the niece of disgraced establishment Senator Mitt Romney (RINO-UT), Ronna Romney McDaniel with North Carolina GOP Chairman Michael Whatley – who despite claiming to be a Trump loyalist likely wouldn’t be much better based on his record leading the NCGOP – and making his daughter-in-law, Lara, the new co-chairperson of the RNC.

At the time, McDaniel refused to step down, claiming she was focused on helping elect Republicans “up and down the ballot” in November’s General Election.

But according to a report from Fox News, the RNC Chairwoman has had second thoughts, and will be formally resigning after the March 5 Super Tuesday primaries.

“It has been the honor and privilege of my life to serve the Republican National Committee for seven years as Chairwoman to elect Republicans and grow our Party,” McDaniel wrote in a statement, per Fox News. “I have decided to step aside at our Spring Training on March 8 in Houston to allow our nominee to select a Chair of their choosing. The RNC has historically undergone change once we have a nominee and it has always been my intention to honor that tradition.”

“I remain committed to winning back the White House and electing Republicans up and down the ballot in November,” she added.

All eyes on November

The former President originally nominated McDaniel for the role after winning the 2016 election, and seemingly supported her as she won re-election to the post in 2019, 2021, and last January.

Trump hosted McDaniel at his Mar-a-Lago home at the beginning of February, and wrote on Truth Social following their meeting that while the RNC Chairwoman was a “friend,” he would be calling for changes after this past weekend’s South Carolina Primary.

Of course, he chose to take his calls for change at the RNC public much sooner than he’d originally claimed, but it apparently did the trick.

Like every other Presidential nominee from either major party in recent decades, Trump is working to take control of the GOP apparatus in the lead up to the General Election – although, all others before him have actually had the required number of delegates needed to secure the nomination before doing so.

In addition to calling for Whatley and his daughter-in-law to replace McDaniel as RNC co-chairs, Trump is also pushing for longtime Republican political operative and Trump campaign advisor Chris LaCivita to become the RNC’s Chief Operating Officer, giving him the final say on how the RNC and Trump campaign spend the estimated $1 billion the 2024 campaign will cost.

Ultimately, Trump is attempting to unite the Republican Party behind his campaign to defeat Joe Biden sooner rather than later.

And so long as he doesn’t repeat past hiring mistakes, there’s no doubt that the Republican Party will be in better shape moving forward without Ronna Romney McDaniel in charge.
