Country star Luke Bryan never expected a fan’s cell phone to cause him this much pain

47-year-old Luke Bryan is one of the most popular country music stars in the world.

Since 2018, he’s also starred as a judge on the show American Idol along with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.

But country star Luke Bryan never expected a fan’s cell phone to cause him this much pain.

Georgia native Luke Bryan emerged onto the country music scene in 2007 with his hit song All My Friends Say.

Since his debut in 2007, Bryan has become one of the top country artists in the entire world.

His first 10 albums included 30 number-one hits.

But it’s not just his singing and music that make him a star.

He’s also a good performer, which has made him a five-time Entertainer of the Year by both the Academy of Country Music Awards and the County Music Association.

It also landed him a role as a judge on the hit show American Idol.

Bryan is currently in Canada as part of his Mind of a Country Boy Tour.

And during his performance at the Coast City Country Festival in Vancouver, Canada, Bryan took a nasty fall and landed on his back during the middle of a song.

“Performing at the Coast City Country Fest in Vancouver, B.C. Bryan was walking across the stage when he slipped on a cell phone that had found its way onto the stage, following a disconcerting trend where fans toss items at singers during their performance,” Fox News reported.

“Bryan’s left foot slipped and flung into the air, per fan-recorded video,” Fox News continued. “He narrowly avoided landing flat on his back, bracing for the fall with his left arm.”

Bryan laid on his back for a few moments and gave his fans a scare.

However, he soon sat up, started laughing, and showed the cellphone to the audience.

“Hold up,” he shouted at the crowd from his knees. “Did anybody get that?”

He assured the crowd he was fine and gave the phone back to the fan.

“Alright, it’s okay,” he said, before teasing the fan by telling them “hey, my lawyer – my lawyer will be calling.”

He asked the crowd if anyone had footage of the fall and took someone’s phone who answered in the affirmitive.

“Let’s zoom in,” he said, directing the crew to display the imagery on the jumbotron. “There I am jumping, I’m hyping the crowd.”

“This is viral, alright, this is viral,” he said.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Bryan took a fall on stage.

Bryan slipped and fell three times during concerts in 2014 alone.

He also busted his butt during a 2022 concert in North Carolina.

Luke Bryan has been lucky not to sustain any serious injuries during his multiple falls.
