Co-host of The Five defends Joe Biden’s Maui response and Judge Jeanine goes nuclear

Aug 24, 2023

Joe Biden’s inept and disgusting response to the deadly Maui fires was one of his worst actions yet.

And almost all Americans were appalled.

But this co-host of Fox News’ The Five tried to defend Joe Biden’s Maui response and Judge Jeanine went nuclear.

Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro unloaded on President Joe Biden on The Five for making the deadly Hawaiian wildfires all about himself.

Tearing into Tarlov

The judge also went off on one of her leftist colleagues, panelist Jessica Tarlov, who tried to defend Biden’s indefensible remarks.

Biden showed up in Hawaii after days of inaction.

But he should have stayed home.

Most observers admit all he did was get in the way while search and rescue teams were still searching for more than 1,000 missing people, including children, following the historic fires on Maui.

Biden then decided to share a story with the people of Maui who had just lost everything.

He claimed he almost lost his Corvette in a massive fire at his home.

The massive fire he was referring to was . . . a kitchen fire!

While he was in the devastated community of Lahaina, Biden told a story that was completely out of touch, entirely unnecessary, and almost certainly not even true.

It was a sunny Sunday

“I don’t want to compare difficulties, but we have a little sense, Jill and I, of what it’s like to lose a home,” Biden said.

“Years ago now, 15 years ago, I was in Washington doing Meet the Press. It was a sunny Sunday,” Biden began. “Lightning struck at home, on a little lake that’s outside of our home — not a lake, a big pond — and hit a wire that came up underneath our home into the heating ducts, air conditioning ducts.”

Then, while speaking to people with no homes and dead neighbors, Biden concluded his fantasy tale with, “To make a long story short, I almost lost my wife, my ’67 Corvette, and my cat.”

It was a kitchen fire!

It seems Biden’s shamelessness knows no bounds.

On Fox News, Pirro slammed Biden for his callousness and complete disregard for the people of Maui.

That’s when Tarlov tried to defend another comment Biden made when he pointed out the ground in Lahaina was “hot.”

Clearly the befuddled Biden doesn’t understand how fire works – it’s hot.

But Tarlov attempted to defend the boneheaded comment, claiming Biden was talking to a dog.

Tarlov blurted out, “He was talking to a dog whose paws are on the ground!”

Judge Pirro unleashed on her colleague.

“Are you kidding me? This is a guy who goes to an inferno, an inferno where a thousand people and children are missing,” Pirro said. “He talks to a dog, and he talks about the fact that he almost lost a cat!”

She then portrayed Biden as a lunatic.

“This guy has been lying from the moment he came on the political scene,” she said. “He has a lack of empathy, he is egocentric, he’s got a condescending smirk whenever anybody asks him a question from the press. He is lying, and he’s narcissistic.”

Pirro said Biden wasn’t in Lahaina to help the locals in their devastation, but rather to “make it about himself.”

“The bottom line is he systematically lies,” Pirro said of Biden’s decades-long pattern of lies, deceit, and bravado.
